Desharow Merman / The Mermaid Desharow

Desharow, a student at the Russian Maritime Academy, joins his mentor Rhine on an expedition to Iceland to study merfolk. They successfully capture a rare, black-scaled male merman. However, Desharow soon realizes that he is not the one doing the hunting. The creature, powerful and predatory, has already marked Desharow as its mate. As a dark conspiracy involving World War II and biological experiments unfolds, Desharow finds himself caught between his scientific obsession and the merman's primal, dangerous desire.
